Free United flights contest for vaccinated folks

United Airlines is now allowing vaccinated individuals to enter a contest to win free flights.

There will be two types of winners.

There will be three winners selected randomly in June and they will win a round-trip flight for two people in any class of service anywhere United flies.

There will also be five grand prize winner selected randomly on July 1 who will receive one year of free travel to any of the United club or destinations in any class of service for themselves and one companion.

You will need to be a Mileage Pus member to sign up which only takes a couple of seconds to do if you are not currently member. You can sign up for the contest here.

United States that the “primary way to enter and win the sweepstakes is to upload your official COVID-19 vaccination record.”

However, you can still enter the contest without a vaccination card by mailing in your entry to: MileagePlus Vax Sweepstakes, PO Box 158, Freeburg, IL 62243-0158.

Some things to note:

  • Your vaccine card will be saved to your profile for use with future travel.
  • Tickets are not transferable.
  • The one year of free airfare will be awarded in the form of 26 travel certificates each valid for a round-trip.
  • Tickets cannot be used on partners
  • Any travel won as part of the sweepstakes must be completed between July 15, 2021, and July 14, 2022. 

Final word

If you are okay with getting vaccinated and sharing your status and vaccine card with an airline, then you might as well enter since it’s so easy to do. And even if you did not get the vaccine you can still mail in your form to enter.

  1. This is criminal. They have NO RIGHT to anyone’s medical information! Furthermore-to have it “stored” in your mileage plus PROFILE??!! Are You Kidding Me???!! Plus-they’ll have a “record” of anyone who enters by snail mail as NOT being vaccinated!!! This is complete B.S.! SHAME ON UNITED…but they’ve Fd up royally in the past so it’s not a surprise.
