The Premier is one of the best bonus-earning credit cards with 3X on travel (including gas) and 2X on dining and entertainment. The $95 annual fee is waived the first year so it’s a great deal for anyone not interested in paying an annual fee.
Citi also has some solid transfer partners like Singapore Airlines which makes ThankYou Points a worthwhile currency to accumulate.
Citi application rules
You should note that Citi requires you to wait 24 months between cards of the same brand. So if you’ve received opened or closed a Citi ThankYou earning credit card like the Citi Prestige or the Citi Preferred in the past 24 months then you’ll need to wait until you’ve hit that 24 month period. There are also a number of other restrictions to know about when applying for Citi credit cards.
