Ink Business Unlimited

Ink Business Unlimited sign-up bonus

  • $500 sign-up bonus after you spend $3,000 in the first three months

The sign-up bonus is what makes this card so special. The Chase Freedom Unlimited is the personal version of this credit card and it’s regarded as one of the best cash back credit cards. But that card only comes with a sign-up bonus worth $150 and the Ink Business Unlimited comes with a $500 sign-up bonus.

That’s a huge increase and it’s one reason why the Ink Business is so special.

These points can be utilized for cash back or if you have a premium card like the Chase Ink Preferred, the Sapphire Preferred, or the Sapphire Reserve, then you can transfer your points out to Chase travel partners like United, Southwest, or one of the many other solid travel partners.

50,000 Ultimate Rewards is one the same level of the sign-up bonus for the Sapphire Reserve but that cards comes with a $550 annual fee!

Ink Business Unlimited bonus categories

  • 1.5% cash back on all purchases

Again, this is essentially a close of the Chase Freedom Unlimited. The biggest thing you want to consider when it comes to bonus categories are your other options for bonus earning. If you just want to keep things simple and earn 1.5% back on all purchases then the Ink Business Unlimited is worth it but if you’d like to capitalize on earning within special bonus categories then you might want to consider these two options below.

Also, you should know that we don’t know how long the Chase Ink Business Cash will be around for. So if you’re attracted to it bonus categories you want to apply for that card asap.

Chase Ink Preferred

Consider that the Ink Preferred earns 3X on the first $150,000 spent in combined purchases on:

  • Travel
  • Shipping purchases
  • Internet, cable and phone services
  • Advertising purchases with social media sites and search engines

Chase Ink Business Cash

The Chase Ink Cash earns:

5% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases each account anniversary year on:

  • Office supply stores
  • Internet, cable and phone services

2% cash back on the first $25,000 spent in combined purchases each account anniversary year on:

  • At gas stations
  • At restaurants

0% intro APR for 12 months

If you’re looking to make a large purchase then this card could be designed for you since you’ll have 12 months with zero interest, which is great. There are other business cards that also offer 0% APR like the American Express Blue Business Plus Credit Card.

The American Express Blue Business Plus Credit Card also earns a whopping 2X on all purchases up to $50,000 per year so if you want to earn Membership Rewards, then that card could actually be a better option for you based on the return percentage. It also comes with no annual fee.

No annual fee

Anytime a no annual fee card comes with a sign-up bonus of above $200 it piques my interest. But when that sign-up bonus hits $500, that’s fantastic offer.

 Ink Business Unlimited and 5/24

This card is subject to 5/24 as far as I know. If you don’t know what that means then you need to look into my article on Chase credit card rules.

Protections

The Ink Business Unlimited comes with primary rental car coverage when renting for business purposes and provides reimbursement up to the actual cash value of the vehicle for theft and collision damage for most cars in the U.S. and abroad.

You will not find very many no annual fee credit cards that offer this coverage.

The card also comes with:

  • Purchase Protection
  • Extended Warranty Protection
  • Travel and Emergency Assistance Services
  • Roadside Dispatch

Final word on the Ink Business Unlimited

If you’re just looking for a simply way to earn rewards with a business card where you don’t have to keep up with bonus categories the Ink Business Unlimited is a great choice. But also, if you’re already earning bonus points on several categories but you just need a card that earns a higher rate on non-bonuses categories, then the Ink Business Unlimited can also be a fantastic option as well.
